Devon Day Trip for Busy Parish

A lively group of St John Fisher parishioners from Wellington enjoyed a visit to Buckfast Benedictine Abbey.

Touring the Abbey church, attending Mass there, visiting the book and gift shops, and finishing with a slap-up Devon cream tea in nearby Ashburton - it was another example of this active parish fostering a spirit of community which contributes to its positive outlook on local life.
