18th May 2024 @ 9:30 am – 4:00 pm
St Brendan’s Sixth Form College, Bristol

God calls each of us to go forth on a particular mission: Let us then pursue what leads to peace & to building up one another – Romans 14:19.

Every person and every community is called to respond to particular challenges and circumstances, listening to the Holy Spirit to discern how God calls us to pursue peace, justice, and joy.

On 18 May 2024 at St Brendan’s Sixth Form College, the Department of Adult Education & Evangelisation will hold Living the Common Good, a day of formation and community, to bring people together in prayer to discern the practical ways to live the common good in our parishes, pastoral areas, and diocese.

Jenny Sinclair from Together for the Common Good will guide us through the context and challenges that face us in responding to God’s call, as well as the kinds of things we can do in our communities – large or small – to build one another up in relationship and live for the common good.

Refreshments will be available from 9.30am. Please bring a packed lunch. We will finish by 4pm. Everyone is welcome!
