A record number of people are now relying on the Food bank run from at St Nicholas of Tolentino in Easton, Bristol since lock-down started to avoid going hungry.
Parish Priest, Fr Richard McKay and volunteers at the food bank have witnessed a staggering rise since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, with a large number of families in crisis having to resort to emergency food parcels to survive.
Phil Gibbons from Cliftondiocese.com popped along and spoke with Fr Richard and other volunteers (at a socially safe distance) about this particular food bank, why there is such a need and who benefits form the service.
