Young people from across the diocese have completed their CAFOD Young Leadership Course with a visit to CAFOD HQ in London. The course, originally written and facilitated by Clifton Diocese Youth Ministry, John Lux and the CAFOD Youth team, is now a national programme that brings together young people to train and empower them in leadership, communication, project management in a Catholic Social Teaching and Social Justice framework.

In the videos on the right we hear from Chelsea, Scarlett and Jordan about their journey’s through the course.

Students from St Brendan’s College, St Augustine’s College, St Peter’s High School and St Gregory’s College took part in the course which continues to grow and bear fruit in our school and parish communities. Each year young people go onto roles in either their parish, further youth ministry work and CAFOD’s Step into the Gap programme.

For more information about the course visit the youth ministry pages on the website.
