Wardour Catholic Primary School had a lovely Marion Procession. The whole school in bubbles enjoyed bringing flowers and singing hymns outside. The school have a newspaper article of a Marion procession that took place in 1935.
Our Lady, Help of Christians, is the patron of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Bath. The celebrated as best they could with a virtual service, processions in bubbles, bubble picnic and country dancing.
St Joseph’s in Bridgwater have dedicated this month to Mary. The Chaplains in Year 5 and 6 organised activities for their year groups. Year 5 did some paintings of Mary. The photos from year 6 are of work on the Rosary, linked to the Mission Together rosary.
St John’s Primary in Bath have looked at a different image of Mary during every assembly in May.
This is the display which is linked with images of Jesus the children have looked at throughout the year.
At Saint Francis Primary School in Nailsea the children brought in flowers to place around the statue of Mary and made their own Rosary beads.
The Year 2 class of Christ the King in Bristol created these beautiful icons and paintings of Mary.
