Secondary Chaplaincy Commissioning Service

On Thursday 22nd September the Clifton secondary schools and colleges chaplaincy teams gathered at Clifton Cathedral for the chaplaincy commissioning. It was the first time the secondary chaplaincy teams had met for a commissioning service without the primary schools. After the service Kevin Loud, the chaplain at St Bernadette’s and St Bede’s led prayer activities that the students could lead in their own schools. Thank you to St Bernadette’s Secondary, St Bede’s Catholic College and St Joseph’s Catholic College for supporting this event.

Education Mass

The annual Education Mass was celebrated at Clifton Cathedral on Thursday 3rd November. The Mass brings together all the members of the school community in Clifton Diocese. The Schools and Colleges Department would like to thank St Bede’s Catholic College choir who sang so beautifully, William Morely from St Bernadette’s school for reading, the students from St Peter’s High school in Gloucester for reading the bidding prayers and St Francis in Nailsea for the offertory procession.
