Chris Clifton has been the organist at St Anthony’s Melksham for the past 32 years. He is a talented musician, singer and composer and has composed the music for several Masses. He has decided to retire having struggles with Parkinson’s disease for some time.

Fr Vincent presented him with the Bishop’s certificate and medal on Sunday January¬† 8th, saying how sorry they are that he is retiring and how much they have appreciated his sense of the liturgy and his choosing appropriate hymns and music for the Sunday Masses. The parish showered him with various vouchers, B&Q among them not wanting him to be too idle in his retirement!
