Last Sunday, July 3rd, parishioners from Saint Joseph’s Bridgwater gathered for “The Mass on the Grass” at Saint Joseph’s school.  It was an effort to bring together the people who attend the two Masses into one celebration. The weather was somewhat threatening to begin with, but in the end the sun came out and about 220 people celebrated a joyful Mass helped along by the parish music group.

It was good to welcome children who had made their First Communion the previous day.

After Mass people ate their packed lunch and children enjoyed the freedom of the lovely school field. It was a good time for parishioners to socialise together and certainly something to consider doing again.
