Over 250 young people will be attending CYMFed Flame at Wembley Arena in a few weeks’ time. Bookings for diocesan tickets is now closed, however tickets are still available directly from CYMFed. Our tickets have been allocated to our parishes and schools and with our bright orange diocesan scarfs, Clifton will make as big impact in the Arena. The theme for Flame 2019 is Significance, with great speakers, music and drama that will fill the day.
As in previous years, our young people will be joined by Bishop Declan and a leadership team made up of Youth Ministry Volunteers.
The diocese will be represented on stage at the closing liturgy by Paul, a student at St Peter’s High School and a parishioner of St Peter’s parish in Gloucester. Paul will join Bishop Declan, Cardinal Vincent, Other Bishops and diocesan representatives on stage.
Please pray for the young people who are attending this event from the diocese, that they will have a faith filled day and a great experience of the wider church.
